What I love most about my job is helping people plan their dream vacations. In the 15 years I’ve been at AAA Travel, I’ve assisted many members with their travel plans while sharing advice about destinations. My domestic travel experiences include New Orleans, Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World.
I enjoy cruising and have been on Eastern, Western and Southern Caribbean cruises. One of my favorite travel experiences was on a recent Rhine River cruise where I visited Germany, France and Amsterdam.
With certifications from Sandals, Disney, Universal, Marriott, Viking River Cruises and Royal Caribbean, I am happy to assist members with a wide variety of travel plans.
Years of Experience: 25
Travel is my passion. In the past 25+ years I have helped clients with their travel arrangements for both personal and business travel.
My travel experiences include cruises, group travel, Disney, Caribbean, Las Vegas and other cities in the US.
What I enjoy most about being a travel agent is meeting new clients and developing relationships with them. I take pride in providing exceptional customer service to my clients.
Years of Experience: 20
I enjoy the challenge of finding the best price for my clients and learning about new destinations. My bucket list keeps growing!
My travel experiences include cruising to the British Virgin Islands, Hawaii, Alaska, the Bahamas and exploring New Mexico, Arizona, Las Vegas, Amsterdam, Germany and France. My favorite vacations are Alaska and the Grand Canyon. One of the most tranquil, relaxing vacations I’ve had was on Cooper Island in the British Virgin Islands where we took an excursion to explore the Baths on Virgin Gorda.
I’ve graduated from the College of Disney Knowledge and am a Viking River Cruising Specialist.
Years of Experience: 25+
Over the years I have helped countless clients with their travel plans, ranging from one-day motorcoach tours to vacations of a lifetime. My own travel experiences have taken me around the globe, including Hawaii, Alaska and the Yukon, river cruising in Europe and Asia, several major cities in the US, Disney World and Disneyland, Las Vegas, and many islands in the Caribbean.
I am often asked “What is your favorite destination?” and my answer is “all of them”. Cruising is always a fun way to see many places while unpacking only once. I love the Caribbean because I enjoy the quiet and relaxation, but can be just as happy exploring a new city. What I enjoy most is learning something new every time I visit a new destination.

I have always been fascinated with the world around me, curious about other people, the way they live, their traditions, and their cultures ever since I was introduced to social studies as a child. In May of 2010, I began working for a small travel agency, and after completing my schooling I earned my certification with The Travel Institute.
Aside from learning about the different peoples and cultures of our world, I enjoy helping others plan their journeys to amazing destinations around the world (It helps me plan my next journey!), making certain they get the most memories from their journey.
To date I have visited Canada, Mexico and the Bahamas, England (took my kids for 8 days right before the 2012 Olympics!), Scotland, Budapest, Austria, and most amazingly, Australia!
My daughter did a Spring semester abroad in Perth, Australia three years ago, so I had to visit! Most people don’t visit Western Australia, and I must say, most of what there is to see is confined to the coastline. In Perth we did all we could do, but my most favorite part was the day we spent on Rottnest Island. The most memorable part were the Quokkas, indigenous rodents who decided my orange was delectable and the water from my water bottle the best ever. Those are memories I will cherish always, and it is memories like this I want my clients to have.
More than pictures and trinkets, the memories we make when we travel are gems we can’t acquire any other way. Sharing our stories and the experiences that created them is what makes exploring our world so vital. As Saint Augustine of Hippo said, “The World is a Book and Those Who Do Not Travel Read Only One Page”.
Thank you for all your support in making our family's Disney vacation the best week ever.
All the travel arrangements went perfectly. The Executive Valet Parking was seamless on both departure and arrival…a real convenience value for the price.
The luggage handling also went very well. Check-in was easy on both sides and having the luggage delivered to our room after arrival made for a nice start to the week.
Our suite at Kidani Village work well for our party of eight. There was plenty of room, 3-baths, a full kitchen, and laundry. This was great for breakfasts for the family especially with three children (4, 6, and 8). Then there was the option for light or full meal and refreshments at the end of long days in the parks. The baths and showers to fall to get ready for the next day of fun.
We did Animal Kingdom on Monday, Hollywood on Tuesday, Epcot on Thursday, and Magic Kingdom on Friday. Our Fitbits clocked 10-miles per day walking in the parks. The Fast Passes were great. We went into each park with a day plan and flexed our rides and show events as the days unfolded.
The day trip to NASA on Wednesday was a nice break and an excursion worth taking. The car rental worked out great. Your assistance in setting this rental, once again, made for a smooth, problem free adventure during out trip.
We did the Dream Maker photo option which made for some great pictures and fun videos of the family while in the park. They really do a great job and we have many images to work with to build memory packages for the kids and g-kids.
So we made it home safe and sound. We survived and the rides…even the Tea Cup experience was fine…. but we’ll need some recovery time.
Our family had the vacation of a lifetime. On behalf of the family I would once again like to thank you for helping make this the great experience it truly was.
We just want you to know how wonderful our July trip to Alaska was an incredible experience! We are grateful to Kathleen Karlsen for all the excellent work she put in to make it possible. The flights, hotels and both parts of the vacation (land and cruise) connected seamlessly. We should also add that Kathleen showed patience and good humor working with us in addition to her professional planning and efficiency.
Last year, Kathleen planned our wonderful trip to Spain. We can’t wait to have Kathleen plan our next trip.

As a member for over a decade and having to adjust to a technological era in which both services and products are constantly evolving nowadays, it’s a pleasure to know that there are certain things that continue to be reliable, effective and efficient.
On many occasions I’ve contemplated to discontinue my membership but people such as Peter Borucki, travel agent from the Hadley, MA office, who’s committed and dedicated to accommodate all traveling needs and desires just makes me want to stay on board. The last two years Peter has taken care of our travel plans and it’s been incredibly awesome. We appreciate his sensitivity to our needs and so forth effort to make sure we are completely satisfied before, during and even after our trip.
As you may know already traveling can be both enjoyable and stressful but having someone you can confide in like Peter who arranges almost everything you could possibly imagine without the loaded hassle surely guarantee that we will continue being part of the AAA family. Peter Borucki should be commended for his work ethics, professionalism and level of investment.
We look forward to continue working with Peter for all our traveling needs.
We arrived home from our fantastic Ireland vacation. What a time we had! The Irish Highlights Tour was great. From the Cliffs of Moher, to The Ring of Kerry Excursion, the Waterford Tour, it was just unbelievable. My favorite had to be Dingle Bay - it was absolutely beautiful. The accommodations were very good and Deanne, our tour guide, was excellent. They handled all the luggage which was a great help each day. Our bus driver (Hugo) was incredible -how he was able to maneuver that bus into such tight spaces was remarkable!
All in all, it was a trip to remember for a long time to come. Helen and I want to thank you and AAA for a trip of a life time for us. We are truly grateful for trip and everything you did to set it all up for us. From the airport, the transfers, hotels, meals and to all the sightseeing, it was just amazing!!!
