Parent/Guardian Classes

AAA, a nationwide leader in driver training and traffic safety, offers a complete, high quality driver education program to help teens in Massachusetts become safe and skilled drivers.

The safety of your new driver is AAA's number one priority. The state-mandated two-hour Parent/Guardian Class is offered by AAA for students under 18 and at no extra charge. We will provide valuable information on the state's Junior Operator Law (JOL), preview the upcoming driver education course, and provide you with the knowledge and tips you will need to assist in your young driver's development. It is recommended that parents take this class before the student starts their on road lessons. This class must be completed before the Driver's Ed certificate can be requested from the RMV. When your student reaches the Behind-the-Wheel portion of the program, you will receive feedback directly from the instructor.

To take part in this program, first register your teen driver for Classroom Instruction. After you receive your username and password to the student portal, you can select which Parent/Guardian Class to attend under the purchase tab.

If you are not a current student of AAA, you may contact us directly at 413-205-2475 ext. 475 to enroll over the phone. There is a $25 fee for non-students.
